The Seekers are the air combat patrol of the Decepticon forces, led by Starscream and second by Slipstream, who rarely get along or agree on anything.
The group got their name when they were sent out into space to seek for new sources of energon. During this time Jetfire was still a Seeker before he crash-landed on Earth and laid dormat for millenia. Upon being revived he was not pleased with the tactics of the Decepticons and choose to become an Autobot.
