Each bot has special skills that make them distinctive from others on their team (but are likely present in one from the other team). These abilities can turn the tide in war if used effectively. Unleash these abilities during an attack or while defending your base.

Points[]

During an attack your team is issued Ability Points, the sum of how much your team can use these special abilities. As you defeat the enemy buildings you earn more points so that you may use an ability again if helpful. Certain buildings release more ability points than others so pay attention to that. Each Ability is weighted, so that the cost of play varies from one bot to the next, and subsequent uses of the Ability will cost more each time (except for Execute!, that remains constant). Players with a larger Headquarters start off with more Ability Points than players with weaker HQ Buildings.

Lab Upgrades[]

Abilities are managed and upgraded through the Research Lab, while Power Cores and Prime Cores are managed and upgraded through the Power Core Lab.

Power Cores[]

While some abilities are inherent to the bot, some are granted by a Power Core chip added to a bot or building. These abilities do not have a play cost and are active all the time. They may grant special powers, enhance existing ones, or increase a bot's health stats/ rejuvinate them during the battle. A bot may add a Power Core to themselves as long as it is the same class that they are, or one of the Universal Power Cores.

Prime Cores[]

The remnant spark of the original Primes and also grant special abilities to a bot when they are equipped with the Prime Core chip. These powers are one of a kind however so only a single bot on your team will be able to wield that power and may be added instead of a regular Power Core. Prime Cores are universal and can be added to any bot.

Battle Boosts[]

Another generic ability that are used by the team, have no cost on Ability Points, and do not get upgraded but are sometimes found in three levels, Mk 1, Mk 2, Mk 3. The specific ability has to be chosen before any bots are deployed from the shuttle and is only able to be used once, but can be used anywhere within the enemy base, range to any bot is not relevant.

Ability Chart[]

A chart exists that lists all of the abilities and who uses them and can be sorted by ability name, Autobot name, or Decepticon name. The chart also lists the strengths of the abilities at each level so it will be helpful to decide which bot will do the most benefit to upgrade.
