Alliances are a group of players within the same faction who join together and battle it out in Alliance Wars. Work together with your fellow Alliance members as you climb the global rankings and win resources in daily Alliance Wars.

  • are equivalent to clans or guilds in other games.
  • can hold up to 40 players.
  • can be started by any player who has a HQ of at least level 4.
  • have one commander.
  • have up to two officers to help in maintaining the guild.

Joining/Leaving an Alliance

Once you've upgraded your Headquarters to level 4 you will unlock the ability to create your own Alliance or join an existing Alliance. If you wish to join an existing Alliance you will be shown a list of recommended Alliances or you can find a specific Alliance by using the Search feature.

By tapping on an Alliance you're able to view their profile, which will show you information such as their leaderboard and stats (total wars won) as well giving you the ability to join. If an Alliance is set to "By Request", then tapping on "Join Alliance" will send a join request to that Alliance for their consideration.

If you wish to leave an Alliance you can do so by simply tapping "Leave Alliance" from your Alliance Profile. Please note, if you're the Commander of your Alliance you will be asked to assign a new Commander before you leave.

Creating an Alliance

Once you've unlocked the ability to access Alliances at Headquarters level 4, you can create your own Alliance for 15,000 Alloy. When creating an Alliance you will see the following options:

  • Alliance Name - select a name for your Alliance (NOTE: this cannot be changed)
  • Alliance Emblem - select an emblem and color to identify your Alliance
  • Alliance Description - enter a short description for your Alliance which other players can see when viewing your Alliance Profile (TIP: some players use this to advertise the requirements to join their Alliance)
  • Message of the Day - a short daily message which is pinned to the top of your Alliance Chat
  • Alliance Type - set your Alliance Status as "By Request" if you wish to manually accept a player into your Alliance, or "Open" if any players can join your Alliance.

Alliance Roles

Commanders and Officers share the leadership responsibility within their Alliance. As such they have the ability to add/remove Alliance members, update the "Message of the Day" and enroll in an Alliance War.

  • Commander - Commanders can promote a player to the Officer role in addition to the above duties.
  • Officers - Officers are second in command and have access to a group chat within the game with the other officers and commander. An alliance may have up to three officers.

  • Defenders - Defenders was a trial element by Space Ape where a team could select who the participants would be in an Alliance War but the idea was dropped.

Alliance Wars

Autobots85 war

Alliance Wars are 24 hour wars between an Autobot and a Decepticon alliance. Because of the imbalance in the number of teams per faction however, Space Ape may pretend that the teams are opposite and re-decorate the opposing side to look like the opposing faction. It will appear as though Decepticons and Autobots are fighting each other when it really could be two Autobot teams. (It is unlikely that two Decepticon teams would be paired but possible)

Alliance notices

The game will remind you that an Alliance War is on going with the red boxes and markers.

The alliance wars are grouped into leagues. Winning fights in a lower league will promote to a higher league. Depending on which league you are competing in, you must have the minimum number of members in order to initiate a war.

War Process

  1. The commander and officers can enroll for a war from the alliance screen
  2. A matching period is started where the game waits for another guild in the same league to also enroll for a war.
  3. A 24 hour fighting face is started in which all players of an alliance can fight to gain points with a maximum of 225 points per player in five fights.
  4. The alliance with the highest total of points wins the war.

War Stages

Players have 4 screens to view the war progress on.

  • War map losses
War Map indicates who the opposing team members are. The screen also indicates how many of your team have battled that opponent. By selecting the opponent name it opens a list of your teammates that have battled and marks green for those that have beaten the opponent, and red for those that lost the battle. Selecting a name from the list will replay that battle for you to watch. (TIP: observe what works and didn't and where the stasis mines are so you can achieve better.) Glitch: currently the list gets updated when a win overrides a loss; it is supposed to show both. From this screen the player elects to begin their part in the war.
  • Autobots85 defense
Defense Map indicates which of your team is fighting to defend your team with markers telling how many opponents defeated your teammate. When selecting that teammate's name a menu drops down with the battles won and lost indicated, and by selecting one of the names you can replay that battle. Glitch: is the same as above.
  • War Leaders
Leaderboard indicates what the current score is per player. It is two columns with your team on the left and their team on the right. Highest scores at the top, newest is listed higher during a tie. Players that are grayed out are ineligible to have their score count toward the team total. Which players are grayed is based on lowest score and can change periodically.
  • Prize Map
Prize Map reminds the player what the goal of the battle is. Based on which League the war is in the prizes are also listed on this page.

Earning points

  • Each alliance member fights 5 players from the other alliance. At one point the defenders were selected by the team leadership, then it was formulated so that the first 2 were random players from the team, then the 2 officers and finally the commander. Now it is four random players, generally getting stronger as the war progresses, and ending with the team commander.
  • Each attempt takes 0 Fuel so a player may use their other teams to still fight for resources if they choose.
  • A player has 3 attempts to win the each fight.
  • Loosing a fight reduces the amount of points gained for that round.
  1. Fighting the first stage earns a player 5 points for each battle available for that round. Since three are available a player could earn 15 points. If they lose a battle they may try again but will earn 10 points. If they lose the 2nd battle they may try again for 5 points.
  2. The 2nd stage earns 10 points for each battle available, for 30 points max, added to the previous score a player can achieve a maximum of 45 points at this time.
  3. The 3rd stage earns 15 points for each battle available, for 45 a maximum of 45 points at this level. If no previous losses a player could have 90 points.
  4. The 4th stage earns 20 points.
  5. The 5th stage- against the opposing commander- is worth 25 points per battle available.

Promoting / Demoting

  • Alliances start in Junkion League and need to win 2 fights to promote to Carbon League. Following the table 3 more fights will promote to Bronze League, etc.
  • If a fight is lost the balance of fights in that league is reduced. So by winning and loosing an alliance can stay forever in Carbon or Bronze league until they either win or loose enough in sequence to promote or demote.

Many Alliances have team rules that a member needs to learn and follow. Some have minimum expectations before allowing membership, commonly achievement of a certain level of base. Others require that the member be able to regularly achieve a minimum score during group events. Participation during events and wars may be required. A player not maintaining group performance can be removed by any of the officers.

Alliances may coordinate off-game as well; via messenger programs like Line, Discord, or social media like facebook. In some alliances membership and participation in these may be required.
